Would definitely recommend for a flash visit

Cozy room, clean room, with a magnificent view of the Hungarian Parliament from my window and a lovely breakfast spread with enough options to keep me satisfied while being conveniently located just a 10 minutes' walk from Batthyany ter.

Couldn't ask for more.

I had very nice stay, the place is well priced and incredibly friendly!

the property was reasonably clean and staff was exceptionally friendly. i loved the room, it was good sized and complete with a good breakfast overlooking the inner garden as well as private bathroom. everything here was perfect.

Well priced and quiet accommodation with marvellous setting just off the hill from Batthyany ter metro station on one side, the parliament and the beautiful Fisherman's Bastion.

No elevator at all.

The Budavar B 'n B exceeded my expectations. The location is spot on, right near the Castle area with fine views of Fisherman's Bastion and the Parliament from various spots like my room and the breakfast area. Viktor, the host, was helpful to our needs. Each morning, a fresh continental breakfast was served, and the selection of meats and breads kept me satisfied. The room was spacious, bright, and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The bedding could use improvement. I found the bed a bit firm for my liking, which led to some discomfort over the nights. A few more modern updates to the bathroom would also elevate the experience, as my shower felt a bit dated.

The hotel has good-sized rooms complete with private bathroom, a double balcony looking up at the very pretty Fisherman's Bastion and a wonderful view.

I had a really great experience here, everything was great, the location was amazing next to trams, and most attractions. Its staff were very-very nice. I appreciated the room with a view, the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

Travel light, as carrying luggage uphill to the hotel can be challenging after a long day out.

We had such a great stay! The room was spacious and comfy. The view of Fisherman's Bastion from our window was fine. Viktor's assistance was great. Just wish the breakfast selection had a bit more variety.

The Danish pastries at breakfast were divine, and the nearby Pest-Buda Bistro served up some of the most authentic cuisine in town. Viktor's warmth and the fine views of the Danube.

While the TV could stand to be a bit larger, everything else really shined . The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, keeping our spirits high.

Room cleanliness stood out, combined with fine views of the Fisherman's Bastion through the window. The spaciousness of the family room added to the comfort of the stay, providing ample space to unwind after a busy day of exploration.

The shower felt a bit dated but served its purpose well enough. On another note, the mattress was hard, which may not suit everyone's taste in bed comfort, and the loose toilet seat could use a simple fix for a better user experience.

Viktor, the host, was attentive, ensuring that my needs were met. The location was ideal, just a few steps from Fisherman's Bastion, offering amazing views of the Parliament building from my room.

He was super helpful with tips on what places to visit in the area , just like a friend would.

It wasn't exactly a bargain , but the experience was worth it.
